Elected Leaders' Management Effect on Public Office

Often voters select the most charismatic or familiar individual...one with a particular skill or political prowess. Rarely does a candidate''s ability to manage enter the discussion during a political cycle. The question needing the most critical consideration is whether or how an elected leader''s management ability helps or hinders a government agencies ability to function. Rather than succumbing to the perception that all government is broken it''s time to instead determine what needs to change.
