About The Book

Dr. K. Indramani has been working at Centre State Relations and System of India's Federal Structure. His areas of interest include elections voting behaviour of the voters and the role of the representatives. He is also engaged in works of regional political system of India's North-East and socio-economic studies in this region. He achieved University Grants Commission's Minor Research Project and worked at the HIV/AIDS affected widows of Manipur and their social life. </br>He has published a large number of research paper sand books. One of his important books is Politics of Presidential Rule in India. It was first published in the year 2009. He has contributed several chapters to different books; namely Politics of President Rule in India: Manipur Perspective chapter 16 of the book Researches in North East India and The Emerging Political Scenario and a Paradigm of Exacerbating India's Democracy chapter 4 of the book Emerging Electoral Trends and Violation of Human Rights. He has published several articles in the UGC sponsored seminars and workshops-international national and state levels. He took the opportunity of the moderator and chairperson in various national UGC sponsored seminars.</br>At present he is struggling on the volume about the political history of Manipur since 1947 to present day. This volume will be published shortly. He is deeply interested in the study of the system analysis and the methods of application in the administration of the state for transforming it into a more developed one.
