To conclude the synthesis of different ligands substituted with tetra metallophthalocyanine to explore their electrochemical applications. The synthesis complexes were confirmed and characterized by various spectroscopic methods like IR UV-vis XRD TGA MASS SEM and elemental analysis. We have L-methionine and schiff base ligand derivatives containing N4-macrocyclic moiety the synthesized macromolecules were explored for super capacitance energy storage devices and electrochemical investigations for oxidation reduction reversible irreversible quasi-reversible and redox mediators for enzyme-based glucose hydrogen peroxide nitrate ascorbic acid dopamine uric acid L-Alanine and L-Arginine. Further we report the use of carbon nanomaterials such as single/multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) for modification of electrode surface to enhance the electrochemical oxidation reduction and electron transfer of substituted MPCs and for many potential applications including electrochemical sensors and energy storage devices. The stability of the modified electrode surface was due to the strong π–π interaction between substituted MPCs and MWCNTs.
