About The Book

I expected a basic (but enjoyable) romantic comedy. Instead I found something much deeper.A genuinely uplifting and beautiful book.A gem of a book; an absolute delight to read.Dan is happy with his life. He just hasnt started living it yet.Dan Whitaker is 20 lives in a sleepy village in Devon and works in a small DIY shop. He likes numbers and hero worships Lord Nelson. But he finds ordinary people difficult to understand and hes certainly never had a girlfriend. His mother mocks him and he misses his father and he pines for Ollie his only childhood friend who truly understood him.But despite it all Dan thinks hes happy enough. Until one June day the beautiful and mysterious Libby walks into his shop - and into his life.Libbys sudden appearance turns Dans ordered existence upside down. But Dan soon realises that Libby isnt who she seems. Who exactly is she? What is she hiding and more importantly whos that threatening man always looking for her?In trying to help Libby Dan comes to realise whats missing in his own life and in turn appreciates whats really important...Part One of The Tales of Little Leaf.Part Two Winter in July is now available as an Amazon pre-order due 15 April 2021.Part Three Departure in September is also available on pre-order due 15 June 2021.Reviews: This is a sweet gentle and absorbing novel that swept me along with it. Before I knew it I was in Little Leaf with Dan! I loved Dans character and really rooted for him wanting him to find true happiness and someone to finally understand him. The story flowed really well and Dans unique and chatty style made me laugh. The author has done a great job at bringing Dan to life and I would absolutely love to read more in the Little Leaf series. Jeras s Jamboree Reviews.Eleven Days in June brought about many emotions for me: sadness at the way Daniel was sometimes treated but on the flip side it made my heart sing when people slowly understood him it also becomes apparent that as people do get to know him they develop a fondness and protectiveness around him. Its a beautiful read a perfect Sunday afternoon read for me curled up on the sofa with a cuppa! Wrong Side of Forty Reviews.I was thoroughly immersed in this touching story... The tension builds as different characters cross paths and Dan risks everything to save the person he loves. Katy Johnson Reviews.
