With the aim of encouraging kids to recycle their cans and bottles the rhyming text tells the real-life story of how Elijah (an Australian boy living with Down syndrome) gets the community involved to help create this very book! With 13 bright and colourful illustrations based on real life scenes and businesses in Katoomba Australia kids will learn to read while at the same time getting to know someone with Down syndrome and also be inspired to make some money through their efforts. At the start of the book are some of Elijah's favourite YouTube video productions including when he got on national T.V. and met Hugh Jackman. At the back are some information pages about Down syndrome and about the making of 'That Recycling Book'.
