Elsie's Girlhood

Elsie's Girlhood by Martha Finley is a continuation of the story of Elsie Dinsmore a young girl evolving from childhood to womanhood. The narrative begins with Elsie and her father Mr. Dinsmore spending time at a fashionable watering-place where they encounter Miss Stevens a woman who annoys Elsie with her unwelcome attentions and suggestions about her attire.
