Elusive Clouds

About the Book: In all these stories the author has presented only a slice of the serious and hilarious parts of his own experiences. But the author let the characters that lived in his head for a long time take off into their wild swings and make the reader break out. Technically while delving into the deeply personal feelings of the characters some passages may appear to be careless in form. Whenever there were awkward moments of uncouth behavior the author adopted a more relaxed mode rather push for perfection. For those who go through the stories with obsessive eyes trolling for lapses of some kind he requests them to be patient with his characters and imaginative content of these stories. About the Author: The author earned his Master’s degree in 1963 from the Department of Zoology at Patna University. Securing a Fulbright-US Government scholarship in 1968 he left for the USA and took an orientation course at the University of Minnesota Minneapolis. He went on to do his doctoral work at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. There he earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology in 1973. As a graduate student he learned computer programming and a course on macromolecules at Duke University Durham and did part time teaching at UNC. He continued teaching at PU until 1998. He published a novel “Lingering Shadow”’ (in English) and a collection of short stories “Dusra Masiha” (in Hindi). “Elusive Clouds” is his first collection in English.
