We are caught within the walls of our experience unable to properly understand how our neighbors are living. But we have our art our arsenal of expression to breach these barriers. We may understand another by interacting with their work and in so doing find that we are not alone in what we do. Embark Painted Roads is a collection of work written by Adam Conkey a man living a life. This is no anthology no self-help book and it will tell you very little directly. This collection holds poems small passages one-line phrases short essays whatever form of written word this man required to indicate how he is living. From an appeal for us all to live profusely to the confessions of a loner Embark Painted Roads is the door of a man's life left ajar an invitation for others to see what they might relate to and what they might be missing.
