The significance of emotion has been previously ignored in organisations and management literature due to its irrationality.However previous studies discovered how ignorance towards emotion has often affected employee performance and turnover within organisations which makes this a significant topic of enquiry for Human Resource Managers. Despite thisvery few studies had previously investigated issues of emotional regulation in education and other service sector jobs in India. Thus this book tried to examine if emotional regulation exists within Indian academia through the perspectives of students and professors as they perform equally important roles in education.
