Empowered by God

<p>I am inspired by Mary Stephen Peter Paul Barnabas Priscilla Aquila and so many other early church leaders. I love the boldness of these disciples to preach the gospel despite persecution and at the risk of their lives. I love how the baby church knew how to live in unity with one another and gave sacrificially to those in need. And I love how the Holy Spirit and prayer were common themes as these evangelists were empowered to perform miraculous signs and wonders.</p><p>As I was preaching a series on Acts I sensed in my spirit that God wanted me to take all the messages and turn it into a book. I hope that you can see how God is moving in your life amidst all of your trials and victories just as it is apparent throughout the book of Acts. May God bless you and move you to deeper levels of relationship with Jesus through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit as you journey through this book <em>Empowered by God</em>!</p>
