Encountering God

<p>How can churches contribute to bringing about healing in our troubled world? </p><p>Has Christianity been a force for good in the world? Is it still today? </p><p>At the 2020 conference of the Association of Practical Theology in Oceania (APTO) these </p><p>were the serious questions raised and debated reflecting the ministry of healing that is at </p><p>the heart of the church's existence.</p><p>Fourteen papers presented at the Conference are contained in this book. They represent </p><p>the range of presentations made at the Conference emphasising the nature of practical </p><p>theology whose purpose is to uncover the causes of woundedness in the church and to </p><p>suggest ways towards resolution forgiveness and above all truth. </p>
