End Pieces

There are 10 very short stories in this Collection plus a Finale. As the title 'End Pieces' might imply the endings define each tale not all of them as they seem. Death and Uncertainty stalk variously to surprise shock amuse sadden repel. In 'The Disappearance' why does Edwin break down? In 'A Solution Springs To Mind' did Gerald play a hand?
