<p>&ldquo;Ending the Glorious Race&rdquo; is the autobiography of Richard Cortez. He was born in 1927 in San Antonio Texas.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>When Richard grew up Spanish was treated like curse words. He reflects on the racial struggles of the 1940s. Richard then joined the U.S. Navy in 1946.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After sailing around the world he decided to go to college and study music. After graduation he met his beautiful wife then became a Band Director. He taught music in Texas Hawaii and California.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>His marriage was mostly happy with a few rocky points that shook the foundation of their vow before God. The Lord had mercy on him and saved him at 72. A few years after his conversion the Lord put Richard through the toughest trial of his life his wife being diagnosed with Alzheimers.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Outwardly he appeared to be a good citizen but inwardly he knew he was a sinner and in need of Savior. At the age of 72 the Lord had mercy on Richard and rescued him.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>After becoming a Christian the Lord would put Richard through one of the most painful trials of his life.
