Energy Conservation Training Handbook - No-Cost and Low-Cost Energy Conservation Measures

This handbook since the time it was conceived in January 2016 has been practically validated over the years. The initial manuscript was edited on the basis of feedback from several domain experts from “Indian Association of Energy Management Professionals [IAEMP] – India’s most lively platform for sharing of knowledge on everything related to energy. Now that this manual is before you the authors are confident that the simplistic approach considered in this training manual to educate consumers in the field of ‘No-Cost and Low-Cost Energy Conservation' would be highly beneficial to the society. Two characteristics of this effort need to be elucidated. Firstly the significance of global drive in trying to attain sustainability of our planet’s scarce and rapidly depleting resources has started to touch even the commonest of citizen. The contribution that every human being should and must make however small it be has never been felt more. Global warming is a stark reality and we all are already beginning to experience the excruciating effects of climate change. This manual as such undertakes to touch every and the smallest of energy consuming activity of our 24 x 365 life wherein our awareness diligence and above all our conscience will make a palpable effect on the quality of our life in days ahead.Secondly the manual deliberately makes a humble attempt to instill in the consumer a subtle approach while demanding a total dedication to energy conservation from the learner.
