The objectives of energy management are: to minimize energy cost/waste without affecting production and quality and minimize environmen­tal effects. With this background the authors have made an attempt to examine energy management in Kerala Centric industries. Kerala has abundant natural re­sources leading into emergence of variety of unique and location specific industries exclusively meant for Kerala. Cashew Rubber Coir Ayurveda Fisheries and China clay are the industries that are professionally managed in Kerala utilizing the nat­ural resources of Kerala which need utmost attention.
