English for Medical Purposes

Health Care Assistantsalso known as Certified Nursing Assistants) perform much of the direct patient care in hospitals clinics and nursing homes. They need to have good communication skills particularly in the challenging area of care of the elderly. In addition they need to be able to communicate with other Health Care Professionals such as Registered Nurses doctors and Allied Healthcare Workers and often contribute to discussions about patient care during Multi-Disciplinary Team Meetings.
