The monographic study allowed us to offer guidelines for the translation and understanding of Anglo-American realias in particular for the translation of socio-cultural and ethnographic realias we propose to use transcription and transliteration for the translation of recognizable names. It is worth using transfer as well as combined translation. In the case of rare and culturally specific realias it is advisable to use the method of descriptive translation or calque. All special cases of choosing an acceptable translation of a word in the context are subject to analysis in terms of its equivalence and adequacy. The theoretical significance of the monograph lies in the fact that the results of the study make it possible to expand scientific understanding of the methods of translating realias to supplement the existing classifications of realias. The practical significance of this book is that the materials can be used in the study of linguo-country studies both in colleges and lyceums and at the university in the process of teaching such courses as English Country Studies Formation of Intercultural Competence Theory and Practice of Translation and others.
