English Translation of Chinese Classics and Chinese Culture Teaching

With the frequent communication between China and the world the world is becoming increasingly eager to know more about China. China has 5000 years of history in which Chinese people created glorious culture. It is vividly revealed in Chinese classics and through their translation we can introduce China to the world. In the book the author takes three Chinese classics—Hongloumeng Lunyu and The Art of War as examples to discuss their English translation and Chinese culture teaching so as to help promote the cross-cultural communication between China and the world. The study should be especially useful to professionals in translation and teaching English as a foreign language or anyone who is interested in the cross-cultural communication between China and the western world.
