Buono (management and sociology Bentley College) gathers contributors in strategic and knowledge management entrepreneurial studies and organizational sociology to examine the dynamics associated with interorganizational ventures such as mergers and acquisitions joint ventures partnerships and organizational networks. Emphasis is on understanding the nature of these different interorganizational forms and ways to enhances their effectiveness. While the orientation of many of the initiatives and interventions described here reflects a traditional organization-development focus emphasis is placed on working across organizational interfaces.
