They may be largely invisible to us but living in our midst are thousands of slaves. Two hundred years after Wilberforce fought his campaign to abolish slavery Rahila Gupta seeks out five modern-day slaves and persuades them to tell us their stories. From the Russian teenager trafficked into prostitution to the Chinese man living in fear of the triads we meet a few of those lucky enough to have escaped. Their testimonies are harrowing but we cannot leave them unheard.
