Entrepreneurship a catalyst for financial prosperity and jobs

This book is an attempt to find an appropriate solution to the societal challenge of chronic unemployment among Congolese youth which is estimated at around 85%. Mass unemployment in the DRC is the result of the kleptocratic governance of successive rulers since our independence. In addition the two looting operations of the 1990s destroyed the industrial and commercial fabric of the country. In the absence of public policies to create sustainable jobs entrepreneurship remains the key to overcoming the societal challenges of poverty and unemployment. Moreover this book reveals that salaried employment is poverty on borrowed time while entrepreneurship is wealth in the making.
