Environmental and Cost Efficiency Analysis of Steam-Powered Utilities

An effective energy policy should encourage the different enterprises utility companies and individuals to utilize energy efficiently and in more environmental friendly processes technologies and materials. The study provides a comprehensive efficiency analysis of specific applications of steam power plants in Iran to apply strategies to the component stakeholders for doing policy implication. Hence policymakers in Iran must be aware of the relationship between economic and environmental issues and available tradeoffs to offer policy initiatives which can increase efficiency and improve equity.
