This practical guide is dedicated to evaluating the implementation of a project''s Environmental and Social Management Plan (ESMP). It helps to assess the effectiveness of ESMP implementation and to support better decision making. It highlights the environmental and social aspects of the strategic planning process for projects undergoing environmental assessment. The evaluation guide provides an agile optimization method for evaluating the ESMP of projects. In addition evaluating the implementation of a project''s ESMP is not a prerequisite for environmental protection.
