Environmental Assessment of Recycled Paperboard Industry

Recycling paper decreases the demand for virgin pulp and thus reduces the overall amount of air and water pollution associated with paper manufacture. Although waste paper recycling emerged as viable alternative for virgin paper production by-products released during paper recycling process such as effluent sludge gaseous and particulate air pollutants also causes environmental pollution to a minimal extent. This book focuses attempts to focus on certain key aspects of Environmental Life Cycle Assessment of a Recycled Paper Board Industry with emphasis on a) Inventory analysis for paper boards production b) Environmental impacts of paper board production. c) Improvement in waste management through experimental studies.
