Environmental education is an essential component of human experience. It is found in all the spaces we pass through on a daily basis - in the park in the bakery at home on the bus in the market in the stores. However it is at school that it appears as an excellent opportunity for reflection. So who better to propose alternatives for achieving socio-environmental sustainability than teachers? Teachers have the ability to foster practices promote conceptual changes and help make decisions permeated by awareness of the actions and facts that arise from our choices. To achieve this it is also necessary to look at the curriculum with which the educational space works. This instrument needs to be linked to pedagogical actions. Finally in order to do Environmental Education it is imperative that we know what our understanding of it is. In this sense analyzing the tendencies through which it manifests itself opens up a horizon for the exchange of teaching work the curriculum and Environmental Education itself!
