Environmental Impact of Agriculture

Nowadays farmers are using chemical to produce high yielding variety crops such as rice. The environmental consequence of using farm chemicals are considerable. It is important to know farmers'' point of view and their thinking about the impact they are generating on the farm environment. Bangladeshi farmers are moderately aware of environmental impact of chemical-base farming practice. Given the condition of environmental degradation in farm areas agriculture and environmental policies are required to be reformed so that farmers can be aware of using farm chemicals while producing high yielding variety crops.
