ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY IN COLOMBIAN LAW

From the constitutional norms of the Political Charter related to the environment it is inferred that the environmental policy in Colombia is based on the guidelines outlined by the Catholic Social Doctrine; thus the dogmatic part (arts. 8; 49: 58 inc. 3°; 63; 67 inc. 2° 79 80; 81; 82; 88) as well as the organic part (arts. 215; 226; 277 num. 4°; 282 num. 5°; 289; 300 num. 2; 310 inc. 2°; 313 num. 9; 317 inc. 2°; 330 num. 5°; 331; 332; 339 sub. 1°; 340 sub. 1°; 366) which have as their object the protection of the environment allow us to interpret that they are based on the guidelines taught by the DSI that is that the earth has its own physiognomy and a previous destiny given by God and out of gratitude and recognition we owe respect to the other creatures and the character of the environment as a collective good destined for all including future generations.
