For decades different contributions have been made regarding the prevention of sexual abuse from the perpetrator however we find that it is a topic that still has much to be explored especially from the legal aspect and from the analysis of the environments where this type of abusive behaviors originate. This compendium presents the recognized causes of the most common biological and psychosocial factors in people who present abusive behaviors from an early age paying special attention to those of a sexual nature in order to establish prevention mechanisms from the potential abuser.
