The book deals with Chicken infectious anemia in poultry. Chicken Infectious Anemia (CIA) is a viral disease of young chicken characterized by aplastic anemia and generalized lymphoid atrophy with a concomitant immunosuppression. CIA has been a recurring problem in commercial chickens for a number of years which visually affects young growing chickens between five and twelve weeks of age causing anemia muscular hemorrahages and variable mortality.
