Female sheep and goats showed higher prevalence of brucellosis as compared to male sheep and goats. On the other hand sheep and goats above 2 years of age showed higher prevalence of brucellosis as compared to other compared to other ages. The highest prevalence was recorded in sheep (15.38%) at Veterinary Clinic and in goats (7.5%) at Municipal Slaughter House. Findings of this study may suggest that brucellosis is endemic in sheep and goats in Mymensingh region of Bangladesh.
