Epidemiology and Management of Alternaria Blight of Marigold (Tagetica erecta L.) was carried out with following objectives: To isolate characterize pathogen(s) associated with marigold blight and determine the role of weather factors in appearance and development of the disease. To assess the yield losses due to blight and its management. Pathogenic fungus Alternaria tagetica has been characterizedrole of weather parameter for epidemic has been explained. Avoidable yield loss has been assessed. Management through chemicals and ecofriendly approach is being discussed.
