Epidemiology of the Risk Factors for Cerebrovascular Disease

Despite considerable progress in the research on aetiopathogenesis clinical manifestation diagnosis and treatment of cerebrovascular disease (CVD) its risk factors are still a matter of debate. The present book written by the head of the Department of Neurology and Psychiatry of the Faculty of Medicine Thracian University Stara Zagora Bulgaria presents a brief overview of the major risk factors for CVD with particular reference to the local problems in his home country and based on personal investigations.
