Epitaphs from Copp's Hill Burial Ground Boston with Notes

<p>This publication provides the tombstone inscriptions of those buried in Copp's Hill Burial Ground copied exactly as they were engraved in the stones. The epitaphs give details of birth and death dates age and in some cases accomplishments of the deceased. Inscriptions of several influential residents are included such as Nicholas Upshall of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery and Captain Thomas Lake an early settler and large proprietor of Maine. A few other significant entries include those of Hutchison Mountford Goodrich Gee Clark Lee and Greenwood as well as the monument to Major General Joseph Warren.
