About The Book

The study titled Epithelial and Connective tissue changes in Oral submucous fibrosis - A Morphometric Analysis is a descriptive study undertaken to analyse the parameters highlighting the changes in epithelium and the connective tissue stroma from early stages to the advanced stage of the disease histopathologically. The study comprises 25 cases in each grade of oral submucous fibrosis that were sectioned and stained in haematoxylin and eosin stain as well as toluidine blue stain. The analysis of the parameters has shown that they were increased in early stage of the disease and gradually decreased as the severity progress.
