Getting divorced and fired from your job don't usually happen on the same day. But that's exactly what happened to Will Kraft a forty year old non-conformist teacher and father of two young boys. Seeking to find solace in the wilderness and map out a new life for himself Will drives off alone to Montana. Mechanical problems force him to leave the car behind and continue by hitchhiking.
