Escape from the Seychelles (and covid)

<p>This book is the fourth in the <em>Mulligan Detective Series</em> after <em>Swimming in Mulligan Stew Murder in the Caymans and Missing in India</em>. Mulligan is in the hospital in the Seychelle Islands recovering from a mystery non covid illness he got in India. He gets treated very well but does suspect that the royal treatment on the Island courtesy of our old friend the Inspector (Scotland Yard MI6 ?) came with a price. Indeed his new luxury apartment with Veronica was next to a man who he was told was a leading gangster in the world of offshore banking shell companies and large scale tax invasion. Mulligan was to befriend this highly guarded and suspecting gangster. Great!. All they wanted to begin with was where the gangster was planning to travel to next. Mulligan indeed makes real friends with the suspect but suddenly everything changes when covid begins to spread worldwide. Mulligan literally escapes not only his new friend's enemies as well as covid by sailing away in the new friend's (ex gangster?) luxury Feadship yacht. They travel all over the Pacific as they await a vaccine and a country that will allow them to hide. All time for lots of things to happen definitely.<br>In addition there are the humorous honest emails from our other really old friend Bruno who is now very wealthy and writes of setting up an intentional community in the Gulf Islands in BC Canada.<br>Please enjoy.
