Esports and the World Anti-Doping Code

<p>This is the first book to focus on the topic of doping in esports. As the global esports industry continues to grow this book critiques current anti-doping practices and considers the role that the World Anti-Doping Agency and the International Olympic Committee might play in creating a sustainable anti-doping scheme. </p><p>Drawing on new research this book maps the instances of doping within esports and considers the differences between esports and traditional sports including the multiplicity of organisations – from federations to game publishers – that make up the complex governance structure of the esports industry.
