Essential problems of literary translation from Uzbek into English

This monograph studies and looks at the essential peculiarities of translation of classic epic poem from Uzbek into English. Especially the emphasis has been given to the translation problems of proper nouns such as antroponyms (people’s names) toponyms (geographical names) realias culture-bound words binomial pairs and figurative language devices used in epic poem “Saddi Iskandari” by Alisher Navoi. This monograph can be furtherly applied by the Bachelor’s degree students of Guide and Translation department or the Master’s degree students who are interested in translation theories and practice of the classical works.
