This is a book about play and its potential to promote health processes creative living and the resumption of interrupted maturation processes. Health professionals need to better understand how violence can affect children and how it can be combated by offering other forms of existence such as those created through play. The toy library as a place whose main existential function is to promote play and value playing is particularly favorable for this. However it is not a question of confining play to the toy library but of experiencing it as a station that spreads play spreading its importance throughout life. In the playful and also existential adventure that constitutes her work the author emphasizes the importance of intervention that rescues the possibility of play creative activity and spontaneous gestures as a way of reducing social vulnerability instilling hope in a better world for all of us.
