Ethnic Groups and U.S. Foreign Policy

This volume examines the dynamics of ethnic groups'' attempts to influence U.S. foreign policy toward their native countries. A collection of essays by noted political scientists the book compares and contrasts the political activities of seven ethnic groups with varying degrees of participation influence and success: Arab-Americans Jewish-Americans African-Americans Polish-Americans Mexican-Americans Cuban-Americans and Irish-Americans.
