European Universities Initiative and the ‘Euro-internationalisation’ of European Higher Education

This book examines the European Universities Initiative from multiple angles and comparative studies.It outlines the scope and potential of this initiative and the different epistemological and methodological approaches which can be adopted to investigate it in the light of previous research on Europeanisation on the internationalisation of higher education and on the construction of European identities through everyday practices. With this it presents the concept of “Euro-internationalisation” to understand the factors which brought the initiative into being.
