EUROPEANS��� VISIT TO CENTRAL ASIAN KHANATS: TRADEPOLITICS AND CULTURE

With the independence of Uzbekistan along with ongoing reforms in all areas it opened the door to great opportunities and commitments in the field of history. Because the glorious history of our people was completely changed in the Soviet era and rewritten on the basis of Soviet ideology: the names of our great ancestors were condemned and the history of our statehood was destroyed by Russian scientists. During the years of independence our historians bear a great responsibility. This responsibility is to restore and illuminate our true history. In the process of independence the role of history significantly increases in the implementation of new transformations in society in the fulfillment of the task of educating members of society with free democratic thinking and a strong spirit of national ideology.
