Evaluation and Modification of Yanmar Thresher to Reduce Losses

Post Harvest losses of rice which is critical to food security of Ghana hovers around 40%. Threshing of rice causes a greater proportion of the losses (quantitatively and qualitatively). This book presents the techniques that can help reduce the losses in one of Ghana''s popular motorized thresher (Yanmar DB 1000) from 9.57% to 3.95%.
