Evaluation of mitigation measures for the soil component

To make up for the lack of environmental assessment (EA) the main concern to be discussed is that EA plays a very important role in environmental management. Indeed the preservation and safeguarding of the environment will be priorities to be considered in the regulations of awareness for sustainable development. However the aim of our study is to verify compliance with the implementation of mitigation measures to identify verify and evaluate them with a view to ensuring that these recommended measures have been taken into account. The methodology involved field visits identifying the mitigation measures recommended in the ESMP defining indicators for each measure and verifying them. This concept is now based on the idea that environmental assessment remains indefinitely a relevant and effective tool for sustainable development. The management of environmental consequences will be an important means of safeguarding a better quality of life.
