I investigated the effect of pollution on the nutrients content of some fishes commonly consumed in Bayelsa State. The studied fishes include: Clarias gariepinus Synodontis budgetti Oreochromis niloticus and Mormyrops deliciosus and the selected rivers were Amassoma Swalli Tombia and Otuokpoti while Otuokpoti river served as control. Fish is major source of protein and commerce so I need to create awareness concerning the effect of pollution.
