Evaluation of release methods of Trichogrammatids

Trichogrammatidae represents a large group of bioagent comprising of minute parasitic wasps that parasitizes egg of other insect many of which are of economic importance. They are among the most important and widely used parasitoids for control of various pests of rice sugarcane and field crops including vegetables. Among the various egg parasitoids that are known to exert considerable pressure on populations of insect pests Trichogramma species are the most widely exploited and used for pest management across the world. The effective method of trichogrammatid release is the main concern of this book.
