<p>This is the true story of Eve an English woman who lived during the turbulent years of the twentieth century. Born into a working-class family Eve determined early in life to do whatever was necessary to lift herself out of her working-class origins by marrying well and above her station. Blessed with good looks and a vivacious personality she was largely successful but along the way endured a number of crises some of which were of her own making.</p>
