EVER AFTER

In the 1930s and '40s winters on the mighty St. Lawrence River were cold - so cold that the waters froze solid and the black ice was crystal clear . . . you could see the fish swimming beneath it. In this tender and often candid look at growing up in the north country of Upstate New York a young girl recalls her friends family and the many hopes dreams and challenges that shaped her future life as an artist.
