EVERY DAY NIKKI

This book is a Response Diary a place to read and then write. The right page is prose: a poem a short essay a quote or a declaration there to invoke thought. The left page is a place to write a place to capture what immediately comes to mind (or maybe not so immediately) inspired by that prose. Keeping the prose and the response together creates something unique and personal. Sometimes in life there is an event that changes everything about you: who you are what you want your commitments and even how you look at life. And sometimes this event is meeting someone. This is what happened to me when I met my daughter Nikki and is the reason for this book a Response Diary containing a short selection from a series of writing that has kept my feelings and thoughts out in the world and available to be heard. Some express feeling some invoke thought and others a declaration but all help me to be with someone I hope I will never be without. So they are here in this book to never be forgotten.
