Every Kid Matters

<p>Every Kid Matters represents the intersectionality of storytelling and the best of psychology; promoting self-acceptance diversity and inclusion at an early age.</p><p><br></p><p>We follow a little African-American girl NeeNee with her brown skin and big hair as she struggles to make friends on the first day of school. We witness her struggles along with those of a Mexican-American classmate and those of a physically disabled classmate.</p><p><br></p><p>The story attempts to teach empathy and resilience along with valuing diversity and inclusion. Meditation is demonstrated to teach self-soothing and emotional regulation.</p><p><br></p><p>Affirmations are taught to create healthy positive neural pathways in the brain.</p><p><br></p><p>The goal of Every Kid Matters is to support the wellness of all children by teaching them at an early age how to value themselves and others.</p>
